Dardick hosts forum on I-80 improvements
Sam Dardick, Fifth District Supervisor, will be holding a Town Forum at the Donner Summit Public Utility Fire District Fire Station, 53823 Sherritt Lane, Soda Springs, CA 95728 on January 27 at 5 p.m.
The public is encouraged to attend to learn more about plans for I-80 improvements.
Teaming up with Nevada County staff, Caltrans will present an overview of the upcoming I-80 Corridor Improvement Plan activities and schedule in the Kingvale/ Soda Springs area, and the impacts of a planned detour of I-80 traffic along Donner Pass Road between Soda Springs and Rainbow Road.
Following will be a discussion period where the public is encouraged to ask questions.
“This meeting will provide an excellent opportunity for Soda Springs residents to learn about the planned I-80 Corridor improvements and impacts on the area and community”, Dardick said.

May 27 update: Nevada County COVID-19 cases rise by 46
Nevada County recorded 46 new COVID-19 cases on Friday making the new total 16,570. There were 191 active cases, 16,239 people released from isolation, three people hospitalized locally and 140 total deaths.
