Frank De Leo passed away Friday, Aug. 17, 2007, after a courageous year-long battle with cancer.

Frank was born on June 1, 1935 and came to the Lake Tahoe area in the ’70s to work on a project. He fell in love with Tahoe/Truckee, and never left.

He was a gifted architect and designed many homes in the area. Having a desire to be involved in the construction of his designs, he picked up the hammer and joined the construction crews.

Frank lived in South Lake Tahoe, Tahoe City, and Truckee.

The past few years of his life were spent traveling with his wife, Carol, in their RV, a dream they had both shared.

Frank was a true character with a heart of gold. He left various imprints on the hearts of many people. He will be deeply missed.

A celebration of his life will be held with friends and family on Saturday, Aug. 25, 2007 at the home Cindy and Dougal Austin in Reno, Nev. For more information regarding the celebration of his life, his wife, Carol, can be reached at (530) 307-9119.
