Detectives investigate suspicious death at Tahoe home

INCLINE VILLAGE, Nev. — Detectives are investigating a suspicious death that occurred this weekend on the North Shore of Lake Tahoe.

Washoe County Sheriff’s Office deputies found the body of Christopher Elliott, 46, on the front porch of his residence at about 4 a.m. Sunday at the 900 block of Northwood Boulevard in Incline Village, officials said in a press release Monday.

“At this time, investigators say that it does not appear as if a firearm or cutting device was involved in this incident,” according to the press release.

Cause of death has yet to be determined, and no suspects were in custody as of Monday evening.
