Dezarie review

The soft sounds of St. Croix reggae diva Dezarie blew through the Biltmore’s Breeze with the ease of a warm Caribbean night.

While the winds blew and the rains poured, the Breeze nightclub acted as an island retreat. Backed by the internationally acclaimed band Midnite, Dezarie stood at the microphone and delivered a powerful roots reggae performance.

Her confident delivery controlled the energetic audience. While the deep-rooted rastas lined the showroom’s walls, the dance floor pulsated to the heavy downbeat.

Dezarie’s conscious lyrics where well received by the aware crowd. The encore “Serious Time” wrapped up the short, yet poignant show, leaving the crowd wanting more from this true talent.
