Donner hearing rescheduled

Administrative Law Judge Glen Walker rescheduled a public hearing over Donner Lake Water Company’s application for $12 million in loans for the water system to April 3, and may decide on the delivery of reduced funds for improvements in the next few weeks.

The public hearing will be held at the Truckee Donner Public Utility District board room at 2 p.m. and at 7 p.m.

Public hearing topics will include the actions that will serve the customers of Donner Lake Water Co. best; necessary interim relief measures to meet water quality requirements; whether or not the PUD’s acquisition of the water system is a viable course of action, and others.

Important Dates
