SOUTH LAKE TAHOE — A 19-year-old South Lake Tahoe woman was arrested on suspicion of drunk driving after she drove a car into the swimming pool at the Hacienda Motel on Saturday night, authorities said.

The Kia Sephia landed upside down in the pool, which was empty except for a few inches of water in the deep end, said South Lake Tahoe Police Sgt. Brad Williams. The driver, identified as Raeanne Wilson, was not seriously injured, Williams said.

The driver had been arguing with friends at the motel over CDs, then drove away in a hurry, according to Williams. The driver lost control of the car, going over some grass and through a fence before going into the pool.
