DUI checkpoint Saturday

PLACER COUNTY and#8212; California Highway Patrol is planning a sobriety/drivers license checkpoint on Saturday, June 6, somewhere in Placer County.

The highway patrol and Placer County Sheriffand#8217;s will check all vehicles, traffic volume permitting, for drivers who are under the influence or driving without a license from 8 p.m. to 2 a.m.

and#8220;All to often, members of our community are senselessly injured or killed on local roadways by intoxicated or unlicensed drivers,and#8221; said Captain Gary Ross, Truckee area commander.
