Eastbound I-80 to be reduced to one lane at Nyack
Caltrans will begin work on the bridge on Interstate 80 at Nyack today at 6 a.m.
The construction will continue for two weeks, through noon on June 30. Eastbound Interstate 80 will be reduced to one lane of traffic today through noon on Friday, when all lanes will reopen for weekend traffic. The lane will close again on June 26 at 6 a.m. through June 30.
The lane closure is necessary for bridge deck replacement at this location, according to a Caltrans news release. Roadside message boards will be used to post the latest information.
