INCLINE VILLAGE, Nev. — The Women’s Club of North Tahoe, dedicated to philanthropic and social activities, hosted its annual Fashion Show on Aug. 29 to sold out attendance at the Montreux Golf and Country Club in Reno.
The event featured vintage fashions from the 1920s through present day, provided by Dress The Party, a local Incline Village business.
“This fundraiser has been our only source of revenue for many, many years,” explains Cookie Steinberg, president of the organization. “We had more than 140 attendees at this year’s event and raised more than $10,000! These monies will go a long way to help our Incline Village schools fund special needs that would otherwise go unfunded and to help our students pursue a higher education with scholarships.”
The Women’s Club of North Tahoe meets the third Monday of every other month (May, July, September, November) at noon. Location is determined each time. For information, contact Steinberg at 775-298-2665 or Millie Szerman at 775-833-3311.
