Curtains raise Friday for 17th annual Incline Star Follies

Each year, more than 150 people contribute their time to Star Follies as organizers, cast members and crew, including students from all three Incline public schools, teachers, administrators and community members.

The annual Incline Star Follies — the beloved lip synch fundraiser for Incline Village’s public schools — will host five shows this year, beginning Friday night at Incline High School.

A cast of local students from Incline Elementary, Middle and High schools, along with community volunteers, will perform a choreographed musical variety show sure to leave you astounded by the local talent — or at least giggling at it.

Over the course of its 16-year run, Follies has raised more than $800,000 for local education.

Performances will take place at 6 and 8:30 p.m. Friday, April 22, and at 1, 6 and 8:30 p.m. Saturday, April 23. Incline High School is located 499 Village Blvd.

Tickets are $35 for premium seating, $25 for side theater seating, $20 for rear theater seating, $15 for student (K-12) premium seating, and 10 for student (K-12) seating. Tickets are available at The Potlatch on 930 Tahoe Blvd., No. 401, in the Raley’s Shopping Center.
