TRUCKEE, Calif. — On Monday afternoon, Feb. 29, the Sierra Sun hosted 13 sixth-graders from Mark Keim’s class at Forest Charter School in Truckee.
The students received a tour of the Sun’s office in the Pioneer Center, where they asked plenty of questions of Editor Kevin MacMillan about all facets of the Sun’s editorial and business operations.
“This was a great supplement to our Language Arts writing portfolio and an interactive approach to learning about the experiential aspects of writing in our community,” Keim said.
