If you live in the North Lake Tahoe -Truckee region, chances are you have heard of InnerRhythms Dance, know someone who trains at the Dance Centre, or have even attended some performances. No matter the association, one thing is clear: InnerRhythms is a beloved organization, playing a vital role in our community.

The objective at InnerRhythms is to offer the highest quality in dance education. Our mission is to nurture and train young athletes, who choose dance as their "sport", by teaching them how to be confident, caring, and humble individuals while offering a comprehensive dance program.

The life skills learned at InnerRhythms are evident in the Alumni who return to the studio year after year to visit, teach, choreograph, or perform,. They share a common thread of warmth, humility, and of course beautiful dancing.

The philosophy of nurturing the whole dancer is shared by each Instructor- some of the best teachers of ballet, jazz, theatre, and hip-hop. They also learn the meaning of, hard work, integrity, and respect.

InnerRhythms is involved in community outreach and recently presented the completely student-driven Youth Suicide Prevention project Giving Voice. The project was performed for the community to help raise awareness about teen depression and suicide prevention.

It's no surprise why world renowned artists who have performed with Cirque du Soleil, Madonna, Prince and All-Stars from the hit dance show, "So You Think You Can Dance", travel to our little mountain town to work alongside InnerRhythms Dancers. These world class artists believe and support InnerRhythms' goal to serve the community through the performing arts.
