Incline High School hosted a flag raising last Thursday, Sept. 11, at 9 a.m., in order to pay tribute to the courageous heroes and innocent victims of the terrorist attacks that occurred on Sept. 11, 2001.

Incline High School would like to thank all the in attendance. The Highlanders would like to give a special thanks to the JROTC program for conducting the flag ceremony, which was composed of eight cadets.

They would also like to thank Cadet Lieutenant Colonel Alex Resney, the JROTC Battalion Commander, for her 9/11 comments; Mrs. Hermann, the K-12 Principal of Incline Schools for her motivational speech and continued support; and Valeri Nix for singing the national anthem.

The ceremony was well attended in its 12th year by approximately 137 people.
