On Saturday, April 26, the Incline Highlander Battalion competed in the Annual Brigade Olympics held this year at Sparks High School.

The event was an opportunity for Highlander cadets to compete in seven athletic events against 11 other school in the brigade, making up nearly 425 cadets.

The events included teams of four to eight participants competing in timed sit-ups (four), push-ups (four), pull-ups (four), the eight-leg-stretch (eight), 50-yard dash (four), one-mile relay (four), and the full mile (six).

The Highlanders earned second place in the eight person leg stretch, stretching 55 feet exact. The Highlander Battalion sent a team of 22 — they were small in numbers, but big in heart.
