INCLINE VILLAGE, Nev. — Lake Tahoe School, in collaboration with Tahoe Family Solutions, is hosting the annual “Giving Tree,” which is full of families’ wishes for the holidays.
TFS has chosen 10 families who are most at need during the holidays and asked for three wishes from each family member.
These wishes are written on ornaments and hung on the Giving Tree in Lake Tahoe School lobby from De. 1-17.
Wishes include clothing, shoes, jackets, blankets, pots and pans and other household necessities.
Community members are welcome to choose an ornament, purchase a gift, and return the unwrapped present to the school by Dec. 17.
The LTS students, led by the LTS student council, then wrap all of the gifts, and TFS distributes them to the families. Over the past 6 years, more than 300 wishes have been fulfilled through the Giving Tree Program.
