Project Grad fashion show set for Sunday in Truckee

Join the Truckee High senior class Sunday, May 17, at the community rec center at 5 p.m. for a night of fashion and fun to benefit the 20th annual Project Graduation/Safe and Sober Grad Night.

The senior fashion show is a tradition of collaboration between parents and local businesses as students model fashions from Truckee-area stores.

This year’s theme is “Rock of Ages,” featuring a variety of rock music from different eras. The event will also feature a silent auction items, raffle prizes and appetizers.



Project Grad aims to raise $9,000 to sponsor a safe activity for the entire senior class.

The rec center is located at the roundabout at 8924 Donner Pass Road. Tickets can be pre-purchased at Kitsch-Downtown Truckee; Margi’s Espresso Bar/Mountain Hardware Center; and Wild Cherries.



Cost is $15 for adults and $5 for students in advance; $20 and $10, respectively, night of show. For more information, call 530-386-5887.
