The Sierra College, Tahoe-Truckee campus announces its seventh annual Student Art Show, featuring work in ceramics, digital arts, drawing, black-and-white photography, and digital photography.

“The art show has received excellent community support, and reflects the remarkable creativity, individuality, and focus of Sierra College students and alumni,” said Pam McAdoo, artist and Sierra College art instructor. “The show is a wonderful celebration of our students’ talent and hard work. We expect 100 entries and, based on attendance at last year’s opening reception, about 300 attendees.

Community members are invited to attend the opening celebration at the college at 11001 College Trail in Truckee on Friday, May 8, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. The artwork will be on display from May 8 through May 21.
