The Incline Village Library may be just what you are looking for. Each week we set aside our meeting room to be used as a co-working space to give you a place to work, or meet up with a partner to discuss and share ideas.

August/September Library Events
Thursday, Aug. 27, 11:15-11:45 a.m.: Toddler Time. Stories, puppets, music and movement for children 6 months to 3 years. Siblings welcome!
Friday, Aug. 28, 6:30 p.m.: READbox Movie Night Insurgent. Read the book, then come join us for the movie! We’ll provide the popcorn! BYO pillows, blankets, and beverages!
Tuesday, Sept. 1, 2-5 p.m.: Jelly! – What is a Jelly? A: It’s a casual co-working event. Jellys have taken place in over 100 cities where people have come together to work for the day. We provide chairs, sofas, and the internet. Bring a laptop and a friendly disposition. Refreshments provided!
Wednesday, Sept. 2, 4-4:45 p.m.: Family Story Time, Children of all ages are welcome at story time. Join us for stories, songs, games, and crafts!
Thursday, Aug. 27, 2-3 p.m.: Free Computer Class, “Exploring Google.” Learn to utilize all the great tools of Google: maps, videos, email and much more.
Tuesday Sept. 1, 10:30-11 a.m.: Join us for a lively Preschool Story Time! Books, feltboard stories, nursery rhymes and a craft.
September is Library Card Sign-up Month: Come sign up for a library card and be entered in our drawing for at $15 shopping spree in the Book Nook! Current patrons who bring in a new member will be entered too.
Sierra Nevada College
Thursday Sept. 10, 5-7 p.m.: Community Read — Danica Novgorodoff will be giving an art talk in the college’s Holman Arts and Media Center.
Friday Sept. 11, 7 p.m.: Community Read Author/Writers in the Woods — Benjamin Percy in TCES 139-141.
Saturday Sept. 19: Tahoe Forum – Guest Speaker is Isabel Allende. Event is free, but tickets needed; visit sierranevada.edu.
Truckee Library Storytimes resume on September 1:
Tuesdays, 10:30 a.m.: Toddler Time, for ages 18 months to 3 years.
Wednesdays, 10:30 a.m.: Babes in Bookland, for ages 6 months to 2 years.
Thursdays, 11:15 a.m.: Preschool Stories, for ages 3 and up.
