Incline Village Library is one of 12 branches that are part of the Washoe County Library System. Did you know all North Lake Tahoe residents are eligible to be a WCLS library card-holder?

Having a Washoe County Library card gives you access to all Washoe County Library materials (books, DVDs, music CDs, magazines, etc.), and an extensive collection of databases that includes: Flipster (downloadable magazines), Lynda.com (learn business, software, technology and creative skills), and Mango Languages, just to name a few.

August Library Events

Incline Village:

Wednesday 5th, 4-5 p.m.: Summer Reading Party. Celebrate all the reading you’ve done this summer. Snacks, free books, grand prizes, raffle prizes, and one big surprise!

Thursday 6th, 6:30 p.m.: Celebrating the 43rd Lake Tahoe Concours event; Rob Retting will be discussing his “Tahoe Woodies” photographs on display at the library.

Kings Beach:

Thursday 6th, 1-1:45 p.m.: Summer Reading Wrap-up! Come see who wins our gift baskets and the grand prize. Cupcakes, rock painting and more.

Tuesday 11th, 10:30-11 a.m. Preschool story time. Books, nursery rhymes, songs and craft.

Sierra Nevada College:

September 10, 7 p.m.: Community Read graphic novel writer Danica Norgorodoff will give an art talk in the Holman Arts and Media Center on the SNC campus.

September 11: Community Read Author/Writers in the Woods – Benjamin Percy.


Wednesday 5th, 4-5 p.m.: Read to the Rhythm Music Show with Musician and Storyteller Alan Candee. Come for entrancing stories and rockin’ music!

Wednesday 19th, 4-5 p.m.: Wild Things brings wild animals from around the globe as wildlife ambassadors. There could be a baby coyote, a baby alligator, or a 12-foot python!
