TRUCKEE, Calif. — In mid-December the Truckee Tahoe Republican Women Federated (TTRWF) donated five new books to the children’s section of the Truckee Library.

Librarian Teri Andrews Rinne chose books from the TTRWF list and the club provided five of those chosen books.

The books include: “The Star-Spangled Banner” by Catherine Welch; “Oh, Say Can You See, America’s Symbols, Landmarks, and Inspiring Words” by Sheila Keenan; “The Constitution of the United States of America” by Sam Fink; “We the People, The Story of Our Constitution” by Lynne Cheney; and “The Big Orange Spot” by Daniel Manus Pinkwater.

The books were chosen from the Mamie Eisenhower Literacy Program list.
