TRUCKEE, Calif. — Get your shopping list and come out to Mountain Hardware and Sports in Truckee for the second annual Give Back to Schools event on Tuesday, July 19, from 5-8 p.m.

During this three-hour event, Mountain Hardware is offering 10 percent off all purchases. At the end of the night, the store will then donate 10 percent of the event’s sales to the Excellence in Education Foundation. Customers are also able to “round up” their purchase or make an additional donation of their choosing at the register.

The Foundation will serve light appetizers and non-alcoholic beverages and prizes will be raffled off on the hour.

“This evening of shopping and socializing is a new and exciting opportunity for the Foundation to raise money while offering customers a great deal on home, garden and hardware items,” explained Laura Brown, Executive Director of the Excellence in Education Foundation. “We receive so much wonderful support from this community and we were thrilled that Mountain Hardware was interested in working with us to make this happen. We truly appreciate their support.”
