Tahoe Truckee Unified School District’s theme for the 2015-2016 school year is “THE BEST EVER” — the best schools, the best teachers, the best students, and the best district.

A critical element in Tahoe Truckee’s excellence is its leadership; the school principals and assistant principals, special education leaders, district administrators, and the superintendent-chief learning officer.

The Week of the School Administrator, Oct. 11-17, presents a great opportunity to honor those leaders.

In observance of the importance of educational leadership, the TTUSD Board of Directors passed a resolution at their last board meeting to celebrate October 11-17, 2015, as the Week of the School Administrator.

The Board and the Superintendent Rob Leri also publicly recognized the school administrators present at the meeting.

“I am very proud of the dedication, commitment, and hard work of our District’s leadership team,” Leri said. “We appreciate all they do each and every day, to ensure the academic success of all of our scholars.”
