Employers, you’re in the hot seat seminar

Sierra Human Resources Association (SHRA) will present a lecture regarding employee issues March 18, at the Olympic Village Lodge.

By exploring the logic and managerial sound bites of former chairman and CEO of General Electric, Jack Welch, we’ll discuss how to redirect behavior and make critical course corrections. Jack forged a unique philosophy and operating system that relied on a boundaryless sharing of ideas, an intense focus on people and an informal give and take style that made bureaucracy the enemy.

You will emerge with tools to perform a team talent check up and a simple coaching formula to drive team member success. Workshop fee is $25 per person. Session begins at 9:30 a.m. following the monthly SHRA meeting (8:30 to 9:30 a.m.) in the Creekside Room at the Olympic Village Lodge. RSVP to dcarrillo@squaw.com by March 16, 2009.
