Explore Tahoe’s natural resources on the Tahoe Rim Trail
On Tuesday July 17 there will be an interpretive hike on the Tahoe Rim Trail at Tahoe Meadows. John Cobourn will be the hike leader. Coburn is a water resource specialist at the University of Nevada Cooperative Extension, and also a Rim Trail certified hike leader.
The time for this hike will be from 9 a.m. to noon. Hikers will meet in the parking lot west of the bathrooms at the Rim Trail trailhead. From Incline Village, head up 431 (Mt. Rose Highway). Turn right at the only paved driveway in the Tahoe Meadows. You will see the bathroom structures and parking lot for Tahoe Rim Trail trailhead just below the highway. Wear sunscreen and a hat, bring snacks and water. To sign up please contact Jessie Hersher, (775) 881-7566, or e-mail jehersher@ucdavis.edu.
