TAHOE CITY, Calif. — As the Feast of St. Francis approaches, St. Nicholas Episcopal Church in Tahoe City is pleased to announce the annual blessing of the pets on Oct. 6. The church is open to everyone, and on the sixth, there will be a special service to bless the someone’s of our families who don’t always make it in.
A herd of dogs is for sure expected, as is a pack of cats and at least one porcupine (she’s friendly).
Service starts at 9 a.m., West Lake Blvd., across the parking lot from the Catholic church. Please come and celebrate those who so enrich our mountain lifestyle!
