Fergeson, Robert Melvin

Robert Melvin Fergeson

Robert Melvin Fergeson passed away on June 30, 2007. Robert was a long-time resident who moved to the Truckee-Tahoe area in 1969. After his wife, Lillian O. Fergeson, died in 1978, he still resided in Truckee. He left for Portland, Ore., in the 1980s.

Robert loved Truckee, and built the third house in Prosser Lakeview Estates. He worked as a mill supervisor for Sierra Pacific Logging and retired after closing. He had many friends and was respected among them and recognized for having always worked hard.

He is survived by three daughters: Catherine Eckardt or Truckee; Ingrid Tande of Quincy; and Odette Nicholson of North Carolina. His grandchildren include Felicia “Fergeson” Little, deceased; Jesse Little; Ryan Hayes and Shauna Bitzer.

He was loved by and loved dearly his great grandchildren Kandice, Felicia, and Valerie, and was thrilled to have another blessing on the way.
