Fire commission to meet this week
SOUTH LAKE TAHOE ” Discussions and presentations on forest rehabilitation, an emergency declaration report for El Dorado County, science and technology and the relation with fuels reduction are what’s on tap when the California-Nevada Tahoe Basin Fire Commission meets Thursday and Friday at Lake Tahoe Community College.
The Dec. 13 meeting begins at 9 a.m. with the wildland fuels committee, and a 1 p.m. emergency declaration committee conference. The Dec. 14 meeting will be the convening of the entire California-Nevada Tahoe Basin Fire Commission. The meeting begins at 9 a.m. in the college’s board room, 1 College Drive, South Lake Tahoe.
