‘Fire up Your Life’ author to speak in Truckee

Donna Hartley

TAHOE/TRUCKEE, Calif. — If you’re overwhelmed, it is your time to become healthy. Survive and thrive.

Fire Up Your Healing! will help you heal your body, soul. You will also learn “The Perfect Plan,” which is a 10-step program for health and healing.

Women Empowering Women is pleased to have Donna Hartley return to speak at For Goodness Sake on Monday, Aug. 19, 10 a.m.-noon.

Rejoin Donna as her incredible true-life journey continues. Once again, life-changing events alter her path. She must heal with her mother in a nursing home, her father in a courtroom probate battle, as well as mend her relationship with her brother.

She recalls the words of George, her mentor, who adamantly advised her someday she would have to release her anger and heal with her mother, father, and brother.

Can she forgive the alcoholism, the violence, and the indifference?

Her mentor mystically appears in the hospital to give Donna a shot of spiritual adrenaline and the courage to face down a deadly disease, and at last brings healing into her life.

Donna Hartley is an international, motivational keynote speaker who focuses on change. Her survival story is compelling and inspirational, with a twist of drama and humor.

On March 1, 1978, she survived a fiery DC-10 plane crash.

On March 1, 2002, she was diagnosed with stage III melanoma and today is cancer free.

On March 1, 2006, she triumphed over unexpected open heart surgery to replace a faulty aortic valve.

Her compelling story has been featured on NBC, ABC, PBS, and in The New York Times. Donna is a member of the National Speakers Association and is the owner of Hartley International. Donna has six stories in the “Chocolate for a Women’s Soul” series and is featured in “Chicken Soup: A Book ofMiracles and Answered Prayers.”

Donna Hartley is the author of “Fire Up Your Life!” and “Fire Up Your Intuition!” with two more books “Fire Up Your Healing!” coming in 2013 and “Fire Up Your Heart!” in 2015.
