Achieve Tahoe Foam Fest
Join Achieve Tahoe for their 33rd annual Foam Fest Fundraiser for the entire month of October at any of Truckee’s five breweries to support local businesses and Achieve Tahoe’s outdoor recreation programs for people with disabilities. Tickets can be purchased for $49 at achievetahoe.org which gets participants five 16 ounce beers.
Pick up a glass and punch card at any of the five breweries which include 50/50 Brewing Company, Alibi Ale Works Truckee Public House, Donner Creek Brewing Company, The Good Wolf, and Truckee Brewing Company during business hours during the month of October.
Guests must be 21 or older to purchase a ticket.

Alibi Ale Works Truckee Public House Swaps
Bring your records to swap and sell from 5-7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 29, at Alibi Ale Works’ Truckee Public House.

In addition, a Swap and Sip event is being held on Tuesday, Oct. 4 at the Truckee Public House. The Autumn Clothing Swap will be held from 4-7 p.m., and those who want to participate should bring clothes to the brewery before Monday, Oct. 3 at 6 p.m. so Alibi staff can sort and organize everything. Bring gently worn and clean men and women’s clothing, jewelry, and shoes and receive a $1 off beer card to be redeemed the day of the swap.
Excess clothes and monetary donations will go to the North Tahoe Truckee homeless services. It’s a $5 donation cost to participate.

A Liar’s Cruise on the Tahoe Gal
Celebrate autumn with a cruise along the west shore of Lake Tahoe starting at 4 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 1 on the Tahoe Gal. The cruise will leave from Tahoe City and feature endless for d’oeuvres and bottomless mimosas while traveling along the west shore. A no-host bar will be available, along with a live auction that will benefit the Sierra State Parks Foundation.
Guests should arrive at 3:45 p.m. and plan to arrive back at 6:30 p.m..

Live music at Alibi Ale Works
The Coffis Brothers and Tim Bluhm will be performing at Alibi Ale Works Truckee and Incline locations this weekend. Starting at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 30, the all-American music group will be performing their music from their 2022 release “Turn My Radio Up.” The group will then be performing at 9 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 1 at the Truckee Public House.
Tickets to both shows are $25 (not including service fee) online and $30 at the door.

19th annual Downtown Truckee Wine, Walk & Shop
Join Downtown Truckee from 12-4 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 1 for the 19th Annual Downtown Truckee Wine, Walk, & Shop festival. The annual event brings together nearly 1,000 local and visiting participants to sip wine and sample local food tastings while enjoying shopping in historic downtown Truckee.
Tickets are $65 (plus fees) and include a commemorative wine glass for tasting at 30+ locations, five food tickets for sampling, a program and a map. In addition, Designated Driver tickets are available for $20 (plus fees) and include five food sampling tickets and non-alcoholic drinks at some locations.
