TAHOE/TRUCKEE, Calif. — Sierra Sun contributor, astrologer, writer, poet, and musician Rob Brezsny was caught on the streets with a cardboard sign, playing a whimsical game of opposite day by passing out money to fellow humans.
“Why do I do it?” said Brezsny, a perpetrator of sacred uproar. “It makes me feel good to shock people with unexpected generosity.”
He noted scientists have recently been doing research suggesting performing compassionate acts makes one’s endorphins flow.
