Gaffney, David Alan

David Alan Gaffney, 59, took his final journey to a better place on Sept. 1, 2008. He battled a long illness with courage and dignity. This remarkable man, born Jan. 12, 1949 in San Bernardino, Calif., lived his life in Southern California, Washington State, Lake Tahoe and the place he loved the most, Grass Valley, Calif. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert. He is survived by his loving wife, Judy Gaffney, mother Joanne, brother Matt, niece Amy and nephew Michael, as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He also leaves many loving friends who will miss him and his unique ability to make everyone laugh.
