Jerry Cash, a 30-year resident of Truckee, passed away in his home Oct. 10. He was born Nov. 24, 1955 to LCDR John and Carole Cash in Elizabeth City, N.C.. He grew up traveling the world, and spent his formative years in places like-Morocco and Okinawa. A 1973 graduate of Awalt High School in Mountain View, Calif., Cash was a mechanic employed at the Auto Doctor in Truckee. He loved going to the races, snow mobiling, canoeing and fishing.-

He is survived by his sister and brother-in-law Christine and David Johnson of Lexington, Ky.; nieces Jennifer Ann Best of Sonora, Calif.; Krystiana Johnson of Colfax, Calif.; a nephew Devon Johnson of Lexington, Ky.; and a son Kyle Daly of Austin, Texas. He also leaves two aunts: Ileen Reninger of Front Royal, Va., and Patricia Cash of Manhasset, N.Y., and numerous cousins. He was proceeded in death by his parents-in 1975.

A gathering in memory of his life was held at the river by his friends and co-workers.-
