Glenshire PTO announces Annual Holiday Breakfast on Dec. 6

TRUCKEE, Calif. — The Glenshire Elementary School Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) has announced the school’s annual Holiday Breakfast and Silent Auction, set for Saturday, Dec. 6, 2025, from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Glenshire Elementary, 10990 Dorchester Drive in Truckee.

The community event, which serves as a PTO fundraiser, will feature photos with Santa, crafts and activities, live performances, a silent auction and raffle, a Scholastic book fair, and a breakfast that includes pancakes flipped by the Truckee Fire Department.

Discounted pre-sale tickets are available until Dec. 5 at tinyurl.com/HBPresale25. Pre-sale options include:



  • Single breakfast: $8
  • Family of four breakfast and Santa photo: $30
  • Craft bundle for one child: $15
  • Extra craft/activity tickets (10-pack): $10

Tickets cover all crafts and activities, including the 5th-grade raffle and additional photos with Santa. Day-of ticket prices are higher and do not include a free Santa photo voucher.

The PTO is also seeking experience-based donations for the silent auction. All donations are tax-deductible and directly support Glenshire students. Suggested contributions include weekend rentals at local properties, restaurant certificates, services such as snow removal or yard work, resort items like lift tickets or lessons, and personal services such as piloting or babysitting. The Glenshire Elementary PTO is dedicated to enhancing the educational experience for all students. The organization supports teachers, funds enrichment programs, and fosters a strong, community-based environment through fundraising and volunteer efforts. During the 2024–2025 school year, the PTO provided more than $60,000 in grants and programs.

The 2025 GES Holiday Breakfast will be Saturday, December 6th, from 8-11a.
