TRUCKEE, Calif. – Join the Truckee Chamber of Commerce on Tuesday, July 18, 2023, for a Good Morning Truckee focusing on several important community updates.

In July, Good Morning Truckee attendees will hear from the Truckee Trails Foundation, Sierra Business Council, Truckee Donner Public Utility District and the Truckee Chamber of Commerce. The Truckee Trails Foundation will share an update on all the good work they are doing to ensure everyone is having a safe and fun summer on our trails.

Attendees  will also hear from the Truckee Donner Public Utility District’s  General Manager, Brian Wright. who will present on the agency’s upcoming strategic plan update and Community Circles workshops. The TDPUD Board has chosen to pursue strategic initiatives that exemplify how TDPUD can best utilize its expertise and services to improve our community. Wright will discuss how these initiatives will serve Truckee’s future, and why TDPUD will be hosting collaborative community workshops as a crucial part of this process.

Jess Carr from the Sierra Business Council will give an update on new developments around disaster funding through the SBC. And finally, President & CEO Jessica Penman will give an update from the Truckee Chamber of Commerce as they head into their new fiscal year. 

Good Morning Truckee is offered in person and is recorded for viewing at a later date if you are unable to attend in person. The event is held at Truckee Town Hall upstairs in the Council Chamber, at 10183 Truckee Airport Road. Registration begins at 6:45 a.m. and the program starts promptly at 7 a.m. Good Morning Truckee is $10 for Truckee Chamber Members and $12 for Future Members.
