Guidi, Lorraine

Lorraine Guidi passed away at home with her family on Aug. 30 after a 15-month battle with cancer. Lorraine was born and raised in Loomis, Calif., and lived in Los Altos with her husband for the past 54 years. They were married for 57 years.

Lorraine is survived by her husband, Leo, and her children Larry Guidi (and his wife, Sharon) and Loralee Cambier (and her husband, Jim) and her four grandchildren, Brian and Melanie Cambier, and Angela and Lyra Guidi, and her sister, Alma Giovannoni.

At her request, no funeral will be held. A celebration of life memorial service will be held on Sept. 23 at 2 p.m. at Peninsula Bible Church, 3505 Middlefield Road in Palo Alto, Calif. All friends are invited to attend and share their personal and joyful memories. In lieu of flowers, donations to El Camino Hospital Chaplaincy Department or Peninsula Bible Church, Palo Alto may be sent.
