Hagemann, Dorothy

Long-time Donner Summit resident Dorothy Hagemann of Grass Valley died May 20, 2007, in Grass Valley at the age of 84.

Mrs. Hagemann was born May 31, 1922, in Acosta, Penn., to Albert and Goldie (Daniels) Faidley. She attended college at College of Marin in Marin County, and in 1943 married Walter Hagemann.

She was a homemaker, active for five years with Animal Save of Grass Valley, and enjoyed arts and crafts, reading and gardening.



Survivors include her daughter, Teri Gau, and son-in-law, Richard Gau, of Truckee; daughter-in-law, Charlotte Dawson of Grass Valley; and grandson Walter Hagemann of Marin County. She was preceded in death by her son, Gary Hagemann, and husband, Walter Hagemann.

According to her wishes, no services will be held.



Memorial contributions may be made to Animal Save of Grass Valley.

Arrangements are under the direction of Chapel of the Angels Mortuary in Grass Valley.
