Halbert, Clayton M.

Former Marin resident Clayton M. Halbert passed away at his home in Buhl, Idaho, Dec. 21 at the age of 77. Clayton was an active volunteer with the Boy Scouts of America and owned C&H Scaffolding. Clayton is survived by his son Terry Halbert (Stevie) of Buhl, daughters Tyrie Peralta (Pedro) of Novato and Tammy McKinney of Clarksville, Ind., brother Marvin Halbert (Sharon) of Sebastapol and numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Kenneth and wife Gwen.At Clayton’s request, there will not be a service at this time. The family requests that any donations be made to Philmont Staff Association, Philmont Scout Ranch, 17 Deer Run Road, Cimarron, NM 87714.
