TAHOE/TRUCKEE, Calif. — The High Fives Non-Profit Foundation donated 10 POC ski helmets to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Nevada County and North Lake Tahoe for the children in their program to make sure they are safe skiing this winter as part of High Fives Foundation’s B.A.S.I.C.S. safety and awareness program.

High Fives would love every child who receives a helmet to watch their video, #HelmetsAreCool (https://vimeo.com/77008826) to learn the importance of wearing helmets.

“We are so thankful to High Fives for providing these wonderful helmets to the kids in our program, they will be so excited to have proper safety gear when they are out on the hill this year,” said Peggy Martin, community development director of Big Brothers Big Sisters.

High Fives Non-Profit Foundation is dedicated to raising money and awareness for athletes who have suffered a life-altering injury while pursuing their dream in the winter action sports community. For more info go to http://highfivesfoundation.org.
