Holly Arts, a Winter Celebration, to host artist’s reception, open house

TAHOE CITY, Calif. — Are you looking for something special, a one-of-a-kind gift? The North Tahoe Arts ARTisan Shop features original work by 23 local artists. Located in the heart of Tahoe City, by Commons Beach, the ARTisan Shop is a treasure trove of handmade pottery, glassware, jewelry, fine art, photography and more.

The North Tahoe Arts Holly Arts exhibit features original winter and holiday themed art and gift items perfect for holiday shopping. This year Holly Arts features locally handmade wreaths, cards, fine art, photography, soap, botanicals, glasswork and knitware. Browse work in all mediums from more than 30 local artists, or give the gift of membership — North Tahoe Arts members receive a 10 percent discount.

North Tahoe Arts will host an artist’s reception for Holly Arts artists on Friday, Nov. 8, 5-7 p.m. The annual open house event for the ARTisan Shop will take place Saturday, Dec. 14, noon-4 p.m. Everyone is welcome to attend and shop. Refreshments will be served.



North Tahoe Arts is located at 380 North Lake Blvd., in Tahoe City. ARTisan Shop and gallery hours are 11 a.m.-4 p.m. daily, closed Tuesdays. The shop and galleries will be open Tuesday, Dec. 24. For more information visit northtahoearts.com or call 530-581-2787.

North Tahoe Arts is a non-profit 501 (c) 3 organization promoting the visual arts in the Tahoe/Truckee community. Proceeds generated at North Tahoe Arts support local artists, the art center and various programs enriching the community through the visual arts.
