Holly-days Jubilee begins this weekend

Tahoe City is ringing in the winter season with the Tahoe City Holly-Days Jubilee, more than a week of family fun and local shopping events. Head downtown on Saturday, Dec. 1, for the Town Tree lighting as we flip the switch and light up Tahoe City for the holidays. Enjoy caroling, warm drinks and music from local school bands beside a toasty bonfire at Heritage Plaza. All are welcome and admission is free, sponsored by the TCDA, TCPUD and Tahoe City Rotary! Festivities will take place from 4 to 7 p.m., with the tree lighting at 5 p.m.On Dec. 2, shop your local Tahoe City retailers and take advantage of babysitting, for children 4-11 years of age, offered by the Rideout Community Center from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., for only $20.
