Homicide investigation waiting for forensic analysis

TRUCKEE ” Truckee Police are releasing no new information about the April 30 homicide of Beverly Beatrice Williams.

Williams death in her home on Bavarian Way is still being investigated as a homicide by Truckee Police, the California Department of Justice, and FBI. Police have released the cause of death as blunt force trauma.

“We met with the Department of Justice, trying to nail down a time frame for forensic evidence,” said Lt. Randy Fenn of Truckee Police. “We’re not ready to release any information on what may or may not have happened at the scene ” we’re waiting for that forensic evidence.”

In a previous interview, Chief Nick Sensley said Truckee Police are in charge of the investigation, the Department of Justice is supporting the police in the analysis of forensic evidence and the FBI is assisting in analysis and contacting people.
