Hospital again to offer Look Good, Feel Better for cancer patients

On Monday, November 5, 2007, the American Cancer Society and Tahoe Forest Hospital’s new Cancer Center will offer the “Look Good…Feel Better ®” program to residents in the region. Guided by local volunteer cosmetologist Melody Meng, female cancer patients who participate in this special class will learn how to use make-up and skin care techniques to overcome the appearance-related effects of chemotherapy and radiation.

The class runs from 10 a.m. to noon and will be held at the hospital’s Tahoe Center for Health and Sports Performance located at 10710 Donner Pass Road in the upstairs conference room. To register or for additional information, call 582-6450.
