I-80 repoens to through traffic near Nevada state line after big-rig wreck

TRUCKEE, Calif. and#8212; A big-rig truck accident on Intestate 80 closed the highway to through traffic near Floriston at the Nevada border during the Wednesday morning commute.

According to the Reno Gazette Journal, traffic began moving again on westbound I-80 at around 8:35 a.m. after a crashed tractor-trailer was towed from the scene, the California Highway Patrol reported, and eastbound Interstate 80 was expected to be open by 8:45 a.m.

CHP expected traffic to be stopped sporadically for about two hours as crews work on repairing the divider struck by the tractor-trailer rig this morning. No one was seriously injured in the wreck.
