On Friday, April 22, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the Incline Village Library, local resident Barbara Longshore will present ‘My Pilgrimage on the Camino,” highlighting her journey last yearacross Northern Spain.
People from all over the world walk the 500 miles, or portions of the Camino, to end up in Santiago de Compostela, Longshore said.
“An ancient pathway to St. James takes you through small towns and prominent cities,” she said previously. “The terrain varies which challenges the pilgrim physically, mentally and spiritually.”
In her presentation, Longshore said she will share the experience of preparation through the journey.
Longshore is a 41-year resident of Incline Village and retired educator who has taught in all the Incline schools, as well as Sierra Nevada College, TMCC and high schools in Australia.
