Jennifer Montgomery to hold monthly coffee meetings in Tahoe

TAHOE CITY, Calif. and#8212; Placer County District 5 Supervisor Jennifer Montgomery, whose district includes the Eastern Placer County, will hold monthly coffee meetings the fourth Thursday of every month, from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m., according to a press release.

The community meetings will be held in the Placer County meeting room, located on the second floor of the Customs House Building at 600 North Lake Blvd. in Tahoe City.

and#8220;When I ran for Supervisor, one of my campaign commitments was to be accessible to the community,and#8221; Montgomery said in a statement. and#8220;Even though I am already in the Tahoe area every week, this is another effective way for me to reach out and fulfill that commitment.and#8221;



Montgomery represents constituents from the city of Auburn all the way up to North Lake Tahoe at the Nevada/California state line. She is in Tahoe two days a week, according to the press release, and has an office in Auburn where she spends three days a week. She holds four monthly coffee meetings throughout her district and frequently attends the seven monthly Municipal Advisory Council meetings to stay connected with the issues and concerns of District 5 residents.

The first monthly coffee meeting in Tahoe City will be Thursday, Jan. 26, 2012, at 9 a.m.
