Joerger Ranch back on the radar

On of Truckee’s large planned communities will go back before the planning commission Monday evening after withdrawing last spring to make changes.

Planned Community Three, also known as Joerger Ranch, last went before the planning commission and town council in April of 2007. Sitting on 71 acres straddling Highway 267, Brockway Road, and Joerger Drive, the project proposed residential and commercial uses.

Developers withdrew the project last spring following the joint town council planning commission meeting to incorporate the two board’s direction.

One major change proposed is switching location of residential and commercial areas.

A major grocery store is still proposed along with commercial, offices, and light industrial uses.

The planning commission will review the proposed changes on Monday, June 11, starting at 6 p.m. at Truckee Town Hall.
