Justin Broglio named new Tahoe City Downtown Association Executive Director

TAHOE CITY” The Tahoe City Downtown Association recently announced the hiring of Justin Broglio as Executive Director.

Broglio is stepping into the shoes Kelly Atchley has filled since 2006.

“I’m honored to step into the position,” said Broglio. “I will do everything I can to live up to her [Atchley’s] legacy.”

According to a Downtown Association announcement, Broglio was selected from a pool of 25 competitors and is already at work in the downtown office.

Broglio brings with him an employment background in marketing and organization from Snowbomb.com as well as volunteer involvement with the Sierra Avalanche Center and the Chamber Advisory Committee. He was also a reporter for the North Lake Tahoe Bonanza three years ago.

He is a graduate of University of Idaho with a degree in natural resources and concentrations in journalism and communications on the side.

Broglio and his fiance Merri live in Tahoe City with their dog, Kenya.
