Kimm, Dale R.

Dale R. Kimm, 51, passed away on May 28 in Truckee.

After graduating from Fayetteville-Manlius High School in 1975, Dale moved to California to pursue his passion for skiing and taught at Northstar-at-Tahoe. An avid outdoor sports enthusiast, he enjoyed skiing, skydiving, rock climbing, biking, skateboarding and especially surfing. His love for the outdoors, family and friends was evident in the many beautiful photographs he took and shared. As a master carpenter, he spent much of his time working on homes in and around Lake Tahoe and in Japan.

Dale is survived by his mother Patricia of Jamesville, NY; his father Richard (Barbara) of Manlius, NY; brother Scott (Sherry) of Quitman, Tx; sisters Christi (Sunil) Gujarl of London, England; Linda (Steve) Gregoire of Westby, Wisconsin; brother Todd (Amy) of Skaneateles, NY; sister Susan (Erik) Johnson of Canton, NY, as well as many nieces, nephews, grand-nephews and a grand-niece.

The family will gather for a private celebration of his life. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in his honor to the charity of your choice. Blue Skies.
