Kings Beach 3-, 4-lane idea among community forum topics
TAHOE CITY, Calif. and#8212; Placer County announced Wednesday it plans to host some community information forums on a variety of topics, notably the Kings Beach Core Improvement Project and related CEP projects, the county budget and the next steps in the selection of the future site of the County Government Center. Placer County CEO Tom Miller is expected to attend the forums.
The first forum is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 30, at the North Tahoe Events Center in Kings Beach.
Other topics range from community safety issues to broadband service in the Tahoe basin. Future forums are expected to be scheduled at a later date, the county said.
Representatives of the Tahoe Regional Planning Agency, North Tahoe Public Utility District and North Tahoe Fire Protection District will be available at the meetings to address resident concerns.
