Kings Beach trailer burns

A Kings Beach trailer erupted into flames Thursday morning creating a plume of smoke over the town and destroying the trailer.

Investigators from North Tahoe Fire Protection District, who responded to the fire along with Incline Village firefighters, said they were unsure of the fire’s cause immediately following the blaze.

No one was injured since the Trout Street residence was empty at the time. The fire charred the entire interior of the residence, which was occupied by renters.

No other structures were burned by the flames.

North Tahoe Fire Battalion Chief Pat Dillon said the trailer was a total loss.

“These trailers burn intensely and quickly,” Dillon said.
